The synthesis of traditional and renewable energy sources

On July 4th, 2024, a webinar on the topic of the synthesis of traditional and renewable energy sources was held. It was attended by Igor Bryzgunov, Director of the Russian Association of Renewable Energy Sources and Electric Transport, and Maxim Savitenko, Director of the Autonomous Nonprofit Organization «Centre for Research and Scientific Development in the Field of Energy «Hydrogen Technology Solutions».

The webinar participants discussed the transition to low-carbon energy, including through energy service contracts, the use of renewable energy sources such as wind, solar and battery, the construction of large solar stations and wind farms.

Time was also devoted to hydrogen. It was emphasised that it is one of the most promising areas for energy storage.

The problem of fragmentation in the field of renewable energy and electric transport, lack of financial institutions to support technologies was also touched upon.
